You can choose a full service club complete with pool, dining and tennis like the Fairfield County Hunt Club in Westport, CT or you can choose the laid back Salko Farms in Southport, which focuses on “the pleasure of riding”. Westport, CT First Night Celebration: Calendar of Events
First Night Westport/Weston is a community-wide celebration of New Years Eve. Over thirty events featuring performances for children, teen and adults are featured throughout downtown Westport. The event begins at 3:00 PM and ends at 9:00 with a fabulous fireworks show. A First Night Button costs $10 and admits you to all events. Children under 2 are free. Buttons are available at Westport Public Library, Trader Joe’s, Westport/Weston Family Y, Westport Senior Center, Oscar’s Deli, Weston Hardware. Also, at the Westport Weston Family Y after 2PM on December 31.
Visiting one of the many Christmas tree farms in Fairfield County Connecticut can make your classic New England holiday extra special. I don’t think I can put into words the special memories my family has from over twenty years of cutting down our tree.
